Overview

GTS Special Situations Group is actively looking for an analyst to join our team in New York City office.  The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work on a small team, with direct exposure to various business teams and executive leaders won a wide range of complex transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, accounting, and other advisors, to facilitate the execution of transactions and ensure seamless project management
  • Prepare pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses
  • Conduct industry and company-specific research to identify market trends, competitive landscapes and potential transaction opportunities
  • Analyze detailed corporate and financial information, as well as conduct due diligence
  • Prepare marketing documents, pitch materials, confidential information memoranda, board presentations, management presentations, etc.
  • Participate in client meetings and calls, providing analytical support and contributing insights to discussions

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in investment banking or capital markets is required
  • Undergraduate degree: Finance & Accounting preferred
  • Extraordinarily high level of motivation, focus on work quality, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and decision-making abilities
  • Analytical, quantitative, adaptive, hungry, a self-starter, a team player, a multitasker, and a results-oriented individual
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and diligence in work product
  • Currently living in New York, or willing to relocate

In accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $100,000. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
